Perkasa Pertikai Tindakan Ambiga Menghadap Agong

Perkasa Pertikai Tindakan Ambiga Menghadap Agong
"Kenapa perlu menghadap Yang di-Pertuan Agong?

1Malaysia E-Mail To Facilitate Public And Government Interactions

1Malaysia E-Mail To Facilitate Public And Government Interactions

Posted in  News on Date 四月 24th, 2011 by Najib Razak | Comments 评论关闭
KUALA LUMPUR, April 24 (Bernama) — The 1Malaysia e-mail (1MY) initiative which provides a unique and official e-mail account for all Malaysians aged 18 and above will be advantageous to the people, said an information communications technology (ICT) expert.
Azli Paat, who is also Adavista Sdn Bhd director, said the official e-mail would facilitate interactions with the government departments and agencies.
“The should not arise the question of this effort making it easy for the government to monitor the public’s e-mail or allowing it to send e-mail straight to the 1Malaysia e-mail account,” he said when contacted by Bernama, here, Sunday.
He was asked to comment on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s announcement on the project, which is a voluntary initiative by the private sector that does not involve public funds.
The 1MY e-mail initiative will promote direct and safe communication between Malaysians and the government as well as improve government service delivery to users and businessmen.
Azli said the government through the Malaysia Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) would monitor the level of security in using the e-mail and it was not solely in the government’s interest.
He said the government had already stored data and information of each citizen and hence did not aim to monitor them through the use of e-mail.
He said in addition to the variety of free e-mail services such as Yahoo!, Gmail, Hotmail and more, people could now choose the 1Malaysia e-mail to deal with the government sector.
“When using the 1Malaysia e-mail for matters such as income tax for the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN), it will make it easier for those involved to give the feedback required,” he said, advising against the e-mail account being used for personal purposes.
Azli said the project under the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) was also misunderstood by some quarters.
“This issue becomes sensitive, whereby the private initiative is regarded as a government effort under the Government Transformation Programme (GTP) and ETP, and the people are required to use it like other e-mails,” he said.
Tricubes Bhd will head the RM50 million investment which includes developing a web portal, a one-stop centre for government services, and provision of value-added services such as social networking and online bill payment.
The Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU) has also clarified that the government is not funding the 1Malaysia e-mail account project and it is not compulsory for the public.
Meanwhile, Malaysian Youth Council (MYC) president Mohamed Maliki Mohamed Rapiee said the e-mail project was useful in ensuring Malaysians were not left behind in obtaining the latest information.
“The 1Malaysia e-mail is good in the sense that the people can immediately respond to the government on any issue or policy. This is called engagement and openness,” he said.
Mohamed Maliki deems the opposition’s objection to the project as a feeling of being threatened that the government would win over the youths as a group that frequently uses e-mail.
Malaysian Association of Youth Clubs (MAYC) president Akhramsyah Muammar Ubaidah Sanusi said the e-mail would complete other government efforts in increasing knowledge on information technology (IT) among youths, including the distribution of 1Malaysia notebooks.
Akhramsyah, who is also Blog House Malaysia vice-president, said the opposition had no right to question the e-mail initiative which could be used for various purposes such as company marketing and promotions.
“E-mail usage is basic and youths are given a chance to get an official e-mail that will benefit them, but certain quarters especially the opposition have given the wrong impression, as if they do not want to admit that the 1Malaysia concept is gaining popularity,” he said.
Security Services Association of Malaysia (PPKKM) president Datuk Shaheen Mirza Habib regards the initiative as part of the private sector’s role in helping the government serve the people better.

20 volunteers going to Japan for humanitarian work

2011/10/03

KUALA LUMPUR: Twenty volunteers from Malaysian Association of Youth Clubs (MAYC) will spend 10 days in tsunami and quake-ravaged Japan doing humanitarian work. The first batch, for the MAYC Global Relief Tsunami Japan 2011 programme, will leave for the land of the rising sun on Oct 16.

It will be the association's first international humanitarian mission.

MAYC president Akhramsyah Sanusi said the programme would be different from other missions as the volunteers would be involved in cleaning up Ishinomaki city, among the most seriously affected by the tsunami and earthquake, which hit Japan in April.
Comprising 14 men and six women, he said the volunteers would be cleaning up mud-covered schools and public halls.

"We understand that what Japan lacks are youngsters available to clean up."

Akhramsyah said rather than bringing food supplies or items, the idea of a "work force" would be best, at present.

Asked if the association was planning to send a second batch of volunteers on the mission, Akhramsyah said this would have to wait as sending more people would require more planning and a bigger budget.

"However, we will see what we can do, after we receive feedback from volunteers joining the mission."

Kebrobrokan Pimpinan Belia

What the fuck is Wong Chun Wai trying to prove?

via National Express by barred on 1/10/10

Today, Wong Chun Wai wants to talk about peace, harmony, tolerance, let common sense prevail, let us become brothers and sisters, we are all fellow Malaysians, and all that fucking crap. But for eleven years Wong Chun Wai, MCA and The Star have embarked on an anti-Islamic State campaign. Now you want to do a U-turn?

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin
You can read Wong Chun Wai's latest piece below. He published it in both his Blog as well as The Star, the MCA-controlled newspaper that he heads.

Was it not The Star that challenged DAP to take a stand on the Islamic State? The Star was trying to pit DAP against PAS and it used the Islamic State issue as the catalyst in an attempt to start this inter-party war.

I remember, back in 1999, I went over to The Star's office in Petaling Jaya to insert three advertisements, three days running, on behalf of the opposition coalition, Barisan Alternatif.

The advertisements were about how the PAS government of Kelantan treats the non-Muslims in the state. It showed pictures of Chinese, Siamese and Hindu temples as well as churches in the state, some which were built after PAS formed the state government in 1990. It showed pictures of pork and beer being freely sold in the state as well as Chinese and Indian schools, and so on.

In short, it was an advertisement to prove that the mainstream media spin about non-Muslims in Kelantan being denied this, that and the other, as reported by the government-owned newspapers and TV stations, were total lies.

After the first advertisement came out, The Star cancelled the remaining two in spite of them earlier agreeing to run all three advertisements and in spite of the fact I had paid for the advertisements cash-in-advance. I can't remember exactly how much I paid but I think it was about RM9,000 or thereabouts.

The Star has been playing up the Islamic State issue to the hilt. In its very subtle way it has attempted to paint Islam as 'the enemy' and a pariah religion to boot. The Star embarked on its anti-Islamic State campaign and, therefore, in the same breath, spun its anti-Islam propaganda in its effort to not only run down PAS but also to place DAP in a dilemma if it does not come out openly and strongly in opposition to the Islamic State.

Yes, The Star used Islam as a means to try and break up the opposition. Maybe it did not quite say that Islam is shit. But the message was clear. DAP works with PAS. PAS wants to set up an Islamic State. An Islamic State is a pariah state. So DAP is a pariah party.

But would this not also mean that Islam is a pariah religion, something to be very frightened of, especially if Islam is going to be the system of government in Malaysia?

Well, as Akhramsyah Muammar Ubaidah bin Tan Sri Sanusi (Junid) said in his latest Blog posting, Torched Churches... Reaping What Is Sown. And The Star too, which has been taking the anti-Islamic State a la anti-Islam stand since 1999, you too reap what you sow.

Let this be a lesson to MCA and The Star. For more than a decade you have been slowly poisoning the Chinese with your subtle propaganda and anti-Islamic State rhetoric. You thought this would be a good strategy to create friction between DAP and PAS, and thereby see the demise of the opposition coalition. But now it has backfired. So what are you going to do now?

Today, Wong Chun Wai wants to talk about peace, harmony, tolerance, let common sense prevail, let us become brothers and sisters, we are all fellow Malaysians, and all that fucking crap. But for eleven years Wong Chun Wai, MCA and The Star have embarked on an anti-Islamic State campaign. Now you want to do a U-turn?

The worst has not even begun. It is going to get worse before it gets better. How do you undo the damage? How do you un-burn the burned churches?

Let this be a lesson to Wong Chun Wai, MCA and The Star. You just can't conduct an eleven-year anti-Islam campaign without something breaking. And it has now broken.

Well done Wong Chun Wai, MCA and The Star! Your brilliant strategy succeeded. Malaysians are no longer split racially. Malaysians are now united. Malaysians are united along racial lines but split along religious lines. But will this kill the opposition coalition, in particular the cooperation between DAP and PAS, as you had hoped?

I hope you are happy with your success. It was a long eleven-year campaign that you embarked upon, but worth every bit. You have finally divided Malaysians along religious lines as you tried to do these last eleven years or so since 1999.

Of course, your objective is to see DAP and PAS go for each other's throats, which you hope will result in the break up of Pakatan Rakyat. Maybe that will not happen after all. But at least now the non-Muslim Chinese and Indians will be able to see how 'dangerous' Islam is, as what MCA and The Star have been trying to say all these many years.
